Thomas Walker is a smart, compassionate and caring individual of whom always has time to spare for others around him, helping those in need no matter what the consequence. Growing up in Beacon Hills, California, Thomas was that kid that no one ever paid much attention to, the boy at the back of the class with his nose in a good book, the last to be picked for sports teams and the one that no one would remember when looking back at their high school years after graduation. With two loving parents, a baby sister and his gifted mind, he saw no reason to be out to impress others of his age when he could be making better use of his time, but needless to say his intellect and enthusiasm when it came to expanding his knowledge gained him the spot of being favoured by every staff member at elementary, middle and then high school, him attending the public Beacon Hills High as no matter how much he longed to attend the grammar school on the edge of town, his parents couldn’t afford the tuition fees.

See, that was the thing, his family had to get by on the bare minimum, his dad having lost his job at the fire station due to budget cuts meaning that his mother, juggled taking care of his little sister Annabelle and working at the local convenience store; her shifts being so long that, he had no choice but to fend for himself when his father forgot to make dinner, or take out the trash; the little things, but despite everything, Thomas valued their company, him developing the mindset that money was merely a materialistic possession and could not buy you the love that his struggling family unit had so effortlessly within their grasp, his background meaning that he cherished the little things, this being a huge factor that contributed to the well rounded, incredibly friendly young man he turned into as he approached his junior year.

However, just as he was about to progress through his penultimate year in high school before moving on to higher education and brighter prospects, his family was hit with a devastating incident that left their entire unit unstable, causing Thomas to have no choice but to rework his entire plan for his future, him having no choice but to stay home and help around the house. He could recall that incident even now, him being able to tell anyone the exact date it happened upon and how it was raining when he received the news. His father, unbeknownst to Thomas, had been struggling with depression since being made redundant, him feeling as if he lacked worth if he couldn’t provide for his family, and that’s why, on the 17^th of October 2013, he took his own life, leaving his family to pick up the fractured pieces of their existences in his wake. Thomas had to step up, he had to help his mother keep their family intact for they were already at risk of losing the house that generations of the Walker family had resided in. So he took up a job at the local rental store, him going to school in the day and then working night shifts, relying entirely upon the window he had during study hall and before the school day on the bus, to complete any schoolwork he was expected to hand in; him determined to maintain the optimal level of grades he had been achieving since starting at the popular school.

Due to his hectic schedule in a bid to make things easier upon his widowed mother and younger sibling, Thomas doesn’t get many opportunities to make friends, him being a loner in most respects and the boy that, now instead of being invisible to some, is known as the kid who lost his father. Surprisingly, Thomas has been awarded luck in regards to the Supernatural, him always having avoided coincidentally situations wherein there has been an ‘animal attack’ or a wild beast has been spotted in the built up areas of town, him remaining completely oblivious and unaware that, Supernatural beings exist in reality and it’s safe to say that his naivety has ensured his life had remained intact, more times than one could count. But now, there’s a war raging, underground and beneath the eyes of humanity, Thomas included, the question is, will something take place and cause him to open his eyes and see what’s practically standing before him? If so, could his compassionate nature actually be of use in regards to making friends and forming bonds and by extension, mean that the fight turns out to play to Thomas’ advantage? Only time will tell what’s in store for this young boy, who possesses such a fragile, human, existence.

Max has always been sweet, even though at times he is foolishly brave. He was just starting highschool when he saw a transfer student stand up to one of the upperclassmen girls. He learned that the brave girl’s name was Violet Harmon, and as badly as he wanted to befriend her, she seemed distant. She never outrightly told him to leave her alone however, so he had pleasant (often quiet) lunches with the older girl everyday until Violet disappeared. When he heard about the deaths of her parents, he went to the house to see if she was okay. She appeared to him there, telling him the truth of her fate. He couldn’t bear to just leave his friend forever, so for the past three years he’s been visiting the Murder House to spend time with her.
